"It's a String Thing" #212

It's Tuesday, your good news day!

Yes, we have electricity and internet access again here in Central Florida.  It is such a treat to be back.

The tiles for IAST #211 will be posted on Thursday - I can't wait for you to see the ampersand inspired tangles and tiles!

In the meantime, let's get back to our weekly routine and begin with this string ~

IAST #212 String by Adele Bruno, CZT

The tangles we will use include ~

Wrapped by Gale Sherman, CZT
This brand new tangle looks inviting, especially if you enjoy free flowing, curved lines.

Ok-rah by Liza Buckley, CZT
This grid based pattern will work nicely on the string's curves.  It is exciting to use Liza's first tangle as she is a friend of mine and a fellow Floridian.

Danzer by Prairie Kittin
This is another new-ish tangle.  It has a basic step out with endless ways to embellish.

Use as many or as few of the suggested tangles as you wish.
Simply pencil the string line onto your tile and tangle away!

Here are the (Not so) Official Guidelines:
